Long time no see! A crazy theory about the ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ sequel

If there's anything that can get me out of my writing slump (for now), it's Avengers: Infinity War -- the culmination of all we've been waiting for since we first saw Thanos six years ago -- which I just watched today. Took leave to catch the very first show (which was pretty packed, despite the early hour!) And can I say: WHOA.

‘Captain America: Civil War’ review: HEARTBREAKING.

Captain America: Civil War is heartbreaking. It's a much more sombre film than any in the Marvel Cinematic Universe before, walloping you in the stomach with emotional punches. But it is also one of the best Marvel films to date -- second-best, in my opinion.

‘Cinderella’ (2015) review: Magical

There are movies that I like, movies I love, and movies I *love*. The first are movies I think are good and will watch again, maybe once, at the most twice, such as Kingsman: The Secret Service, Birdman, The Divergent Series: Insurgent. (Anything else is overkill.) The second are movies I’ll gladly watch a few more times, like The Lego Movie and Whiplash, though I need some distance between each viewing. The last category belongs to the films that have won my heart and mind entirely, the ones which after I finished watching them for the first time in the cinema, I immediately wanted to go back in and rewatch them a second, third, fourth time. Cinderella belongs squarely in the last.
