Going into this episode, I had an inkling of what was going to happen, just from scrolling down my newsfeed and seeing the headlines of news articles, and the pictures they chose to use. It spoilt the surprise a little. Oh well. 🙁 It was horrible. Maybe it’s better to be forewarned.

Anyway, on with my thoughts while watching:

This Game of Many Faces is so complicated.

But even A Man (and his powers bestowed by the gods) knows that Arya didn’t truly hate The Hound. Because she hasn’t reached the point of no return yet.

Tyrion really helps his scene partners to shine with every exchange. (So does Bronn.) Behold the snarky power of a dwarf!

Oh yes, now we remember that Ser Jorah wouldn’t have known that his father had died. :S

That crypt of many faces is so creepy. But that brings up the question: how do you “unface” a body?

Hey, isn’t that slaver Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje? I didn’t know he guest-starred in the show.

And since he punched Ser Jorah bare-knuckled, I suppose he’ll be a Stone Man too before long.

How did Littlefinger recognise Lancel Lannister? I certainly can’t. Even though I’ve seen him in the past few episodes.

I love how almost every conversation is so loaded with subtext your throat would run dry if you actually said all the things they are *not* saying, rather than the things they said.

What is Littlefinger’s game??? Does he really want to be Warden of the North?

I don’t really like the actor who plays Trystane Martell, but that’s just because I recently saw him in a movie and I hated him in it. The young lovers seem sweet though. And so ignorant of the perils of the outside world.

Why are these Dornish gardens, which I assumed are in palace grounds, so unprotected and open to strange assassins to wander around?

Cersei has met her match in barbs, now that Tyrion is gone! 😀

Cersei: “As for your veiled threats–“
Olenna Tyrell: “What veil?”

But even Olenna can do nothing.

Loras Tyrell looks like a completely different person with his beard.

I KNEW they would bring that gigolo, whatzisname, to testify at this “inquest”!

Masterful play by Cersei to imprison both Loras and Margaery! But I’m sure she’ll have her own comeuppance soon enough. Things have been going too well for her.

Oh Sansa! My brave girl! Though I really thought Myranda was going to yank her hair and get into a catfight.

If it weren’t so dark and slightly creepy, the godswood would have been a beautiful setting for a wedding.

RAMSAY BOLTON’S PSYCHOPATHIC SMILE IS TOO MUCH TO BEAR! SANSA!

SANSAAAAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :’-O:’-O:’-O I’m glad they knew to cut away, since the show usually doesn’t care about being explicit, but it was equally heartbreaking to see Theon weeping and not daring to do anything! :’-O:’-O:’-O

How could Littlefinger have left her there?! Did he TRULY not know what kind of sick person Ramsay was???!!!

I wish that Tyrion had touched her. He would have been kind. And she wouldn’t have suffered so much now. :’-O

F**k this shit I say.
F**k this shit!!!
